Namaz
Namaz (Salah) is one of the five pillars of Islam and an essential act of worship performed by Muslims every day. It is a direct connection between a believer and Allah, helping Muslims remember their purpose in life and remain spiritually disciplined. Muslims offer five daily prayers: Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha, each performed at specific times throughout the day. Namaz teaches punctuality, cleanliness, patience, humility, and self-discipline. Before prayer, Muslims perform Wudu (ablution) to ensure physical purity. During Namaz, Muslims stand, bow, prostrate, and sit while reciting verses from the Holy Quran and specific supplications. These actions symbolize submission and devotion to Allah. Beyond worship, Namaz brings peace to the heart, reduces stress, and strengthens faith. It reminds believers to stay grateful, seek forgiveness, and ask for guidance. Regular prayer helps Muslims stay connected to their religion and maintain balance in daily life.
